one story the monsignor told me was a first grader who decided to write a letter to janessa, who was in eighth grade and she wrote "i hope your first day in heaven was fantastic." so, family and friends will gather here again tomorrow for the funeral at st. cecilia's. >> can't say it better than that little first grader. thank you. relatives of three family members listed as missing in that explosion are confirming what they dreaded. three generations died in their san bruno home. this is a picture of 50-year-old gregory bulles and the 17-year-old son. at their residence at 1690 clearmont, the remains of two male victims and one female victim were confirmed. the family announced the passing of la von, greg, and william

bruno. ten bands performed. proceeds from the $20 cover charge and cash from a donatn box, all went to the victims of a gas explosion. >> all of those funds are going to go to the relief efforts in san bruno for the city of san bruno. and the whole event tonight is for them, and it's the neighbors pulling together for a neighborhood that they watched go through a lot of pain and a lot of tragedy. >> the money will go to a red cross fund, as well as a fund set up directly for the city of san bruno. from raising funds to raising concern. hundreds of high-risk gas pipelines are going çóunchecked across the bay area. nearly 300 miles of pipeline are classified as needing stricter inspection. that's not expected to be completed by the year 2012. the utilities inspect pipelines of heavily populated pipelines. but it takes years to get to all of them. state regulators may ask pg & e

to speed up the process. they will not reveal the location of lines that haven't been inspected yet. legislative lockup in less than an hour, california will set a new low for the longest budget impasse ever. tomorrow marks the 79th day the state has gone without a resolution to the $19 billion defic deficit. top lawmakers huddled at the capital tonight with no deal. >> we're all negotiating, giving up something. and i don't think we have a budget in the last couple of years that everybody is proud of. get it done in a day. not that difficult to do. it's having the will power to make the tough decisions. >> democrats and republicans had a standoff over whether new taxes or spending cuts are needed. given the impasse, we may not get a new budget before the november election. both sides back at the table tomorrow. bay area foodies don't have
